Many youth in today's modern world find themselves lost and in need of direction as they attempt to navigate the thick darkness that accompanies sexual behavior problems. STAR Guides helps youth to deal with these problems while they are still young. Research suggests that for many, sexual problematic behavior first begins during the adolescent years. Regardless of past behaviors, we believe that all youth can learn to achieve healthy sexuality. STAR Guides provides families with navigation through these challenges. STAR Guides is an outdoor therapeutic program designed for youth and young adults who are struggling with problematic sexual behavior. Whether an adolescent needs a higher level of care, is stepping down from residential care and needs continued structure and community in our Partial Hospitalization Program, or needs several days per week of after-school support through our outpatient services option, our range of programming meets each young person and family where they are. Our continuing care program provides ongoing support through virtual sessions, and our robust Alumni department keeps former clients connected through online and in-person events and support groups. All of our programs have received accreditation from the Joint Commission for Behavioral Healthcare, the nation’s most respected healthcare accreditation body.
